  1. Volunteering at the Hope Medical Clinic - Kasubi branch was an amazing experience. Morgan, Charles, and all the clinic staff were very friendly and willing to show you around their homes and their country. I learned so much working at the clinic largely thanks to the health professionals working there who were always so patient and ready to answer all of my questions. Examining hard of hearing individuals and preparing hearing aid impressions for them let you see so many different parts of Uganda and really feel that you were making a difference. I only wish I could have been there to see the hearing aids distributed in August! The cultural and tourist opportunities provided by 1000 Shades of Green were extremely worthwhile. Traveling to beautiful Murchison falls, seeing local villages, and even just trying the local foods - everything was a great experience. I highly recommend 1000 Shades of Green for volunteering opportunities in Uganda.
